Fanny Bloom

Since the release of her first solo album, Apprentie Guerrière (2012), which was awarded with a Félix for the Alternative Album of the Year, Fanny Bloom has embodied a genre of Quebec pop that captures the spirit of the times – as melancholic as it is exalting. With the release of Pan (2014), and a homonymous album comprised of piano-accompanied re-interpretations (2016), the unruly creator continues in the same vein, elegantly depicting haunting memories and beautiful, irrepressible desires laced with her signature sound.

She then presents Liqueur, a fresh nectar of sweet ingredients concocted with the help of TŌKI (Thomas Hébert and Julien Harbec, previous collaborators from La Patère Rose). Candid, vivid and refreshing, this precocious springtime opus oozes heady melodies and light-hearted lyricism, enveloped in
the vaporous vocals of a Fanny Bloom more radiant than ever. This fragile-hearted and gentle warrior further demonstrates her talent for loosening the hips, all the while warming the heart.

For this album, she was nominated in the categories of “Songwriter or Composer of the Year” and “Record Producer of the Year” at the 2018 ADISQ Awards.
She also participates in the project “Sur les traces de la Renarde”, a tribute to Pauline Julien, that will lead Fanny across the province of Quebec.
The project was awarded 3 Felix in 2019.
