MoKa

MoKa is a French-language electro-pop duo composed of two dynamic musicians. Marie-Anne Tessier and Jeanne Gagné met while studying music at Cégep Marie-Victorin. They explore and blend different styles to create their own unique atmosphere. Marie-Anne and Jeanne were already active in the music industry before founding MoKa in early 2018. Combining their experiences leads to the creation of groovy French-language electronic music filled with catchy melodies. Their seemingly sweet and light songs convey a lucid, sometimes bittersweet reflection, a bit like a café mocha... half coffee, half chocolate.
On stage, in a colorful, tropical setting, the two multi-instrumentalists (vocals, bass, percussion, drums, guitar) are accompanied by four other musicians on keyboards, guitar, bass, and drums.
